Red Tropical Hibiscus (Chinese Hibiscus) feautures huge, trumpet-shaped, red flowers up to 6" in diameter. The flowers have a long central tube with stamens and pistils at the tip. Tropical Hibiscus is a large shrub or small tree growing up to 15' high in frost-free climates, and about 1/3 to 1/2 that size when grown as an annual in Zones 8 and north. May be grown in a large container and brought indoors to overwinter. Excellent for use around swimming pools and outdoor living areas to provide that tropical look and feel. Tropical Hibiscus come in many different colors and all are hummingbird magnets!
