Climbing Roses
Climbing roses produce roses just like most others, but they grow a lot taller; reaching heights from 8 to 50 feet! While it may take them several years to reach their full height, you'll be rewarded for many years to come with an abundance of flowers. Once established they are very tough plants, requiring very little maintenance or care. They serve many useful purposes in the landscape. You can grow them on overhead structures such as arbors and pergolas, on trellises, or up a pole. They can be grown to cover things up: chain-link fences, ugly garages, and even your neighbor's old delapidated RV can be made to disappear. With climbing roses, you get a lot for your money: Two shrubs at about $30 apiece can solve huge landscape headaches and add more character and romance than just about any other flowering plant.
