Perennial Plants For Moist Or Wet Soil
Got moist or wet soil in the garden? If so, don't sweat it - moisture-loving perennial plants may be just the answer!
Often we gardeners will spend thousands of dollars on an elaborate drainage system just to drain one boggy area in the landscape when we can easily and inexpensively turn that liability into a blooming asset with moisture-loving perennials. And aren't flowers much prettier than metal drain covers?
Most moisture-loving perennials, such as Iris, Cannas, Bee Balm and Horsetail Rush are quick growers so will spread to fill the entire wet or consistently moist area in a short period of time.
Below you will find a listing of perennial plants that prefer or tolerate consistently moist soil conditions. Click on any link or thumbnail image to see an expanded Plant File that contains a detailed plant description, usage suggestions and instructions for care.
