There are many perennial plants known for their fragrant flowers.

Perennial plants that have fragrant flowers are perfect for planting near decks, patios, pools and other outdoor living or sitting areas. Not only are they conversation pieces that fill the air with nice aroma but some are good for repelling insects. Aside from providing fragrance and aroma, many, such as Peonies are great for cutting to bring the fragrance indoors.
