Caramel Heuchera is a vigorous, clump-forming perennial that features unique and outstanding apricot foliage. Tiny, light pink flowers appear in spires in early summer on slender stems rising above the foliage mound. Useful in rock gardens, container plantings, borders and shade and woodland gardens. Effective as an edger along paths or walkways. In the South this one requires some shade in the afternoon.

Caramel Heuchera Feeding Instructions

Feed lightly in Spring and then on an as needed basis through late Summer. We generally recommend a slow-release granular flower food, higher in the middle number: this is phospherous, which helps to promote strong root systems, strong stems and plenty of flowers. Alternatively, you may use a natural or organic, non-burning plant food. Refer to product label for application rates and instruction.

Caramel Heuchera Pruning Instructions

This perennial plant requires little or no pruning. An occasional snip here or there of a stray or broken branch, damaged leaf or faded flower is okay during the active growth season. When plant has gone dormant for winter it can be cut back to the ground.

This plant typically encounters very few pest or disease problems. If a pest or disease problem is identified, treat with an insecticide product, preferably one containing "Neem oil". Neem oil is a safe, triple-action product that can be used to control insects, mites and diseases. If your plant appears seriously stressed or diseased, consult with your local nurseryman, arborist, professional landscaper or local extension agent.
