Spanish Lavender produces an abundance of unique, purple flowers in Spring atop the bright grey-green foliage. The flowers look like purple pineapples with lavender, upright rabbit ears on top. Foliage spreads to produce a low mound. If the flower stems are removed after flowers have faded this can encourage a repeat bloom in Fall. Likies well drained soil, full sun, heat and humidity. Useful as a bed border, a specimen accent, in groups or massed on embankments and in containers. Best Lavender for the South.
