Annual Plants
Annual bedding plants, what many call "annual flowers" or simply "annuals", are those which complete there entire growing cycle within one year, or one season.
Annuals are bright and cheery additions to any landscape garden and can be used in many situations. When we plant "flower beds" in the landscape, the splash of bright color makes an excellent focal points. Annuals are also very useful in containers, either stationary in pots or planters that can be kept on patios, decks, porches or out in the garden. Many annuals are planted in hanging baskets to accentuate a front or back porch or under windows in "window boxes" to add color to and accentuate the surrounding area.
