Welcome to the Plant Files!

The Plant Files is a plant database showcasing some of the most hardy and popular plants that can be grown in various zones from 3 to 11. In a Plant File you will find:

1. Plant photo(s) and description
2. A detailed list of features, attributes and characteristics (that can be clicked on to find all other plants in the database that share the same features)
3. Detailed plant care instructions and suggested uses.

There are several ways you can go about finding plants on the web site:

1. Find a plant by typing its common or botanical name in the Site Search in the header (above) on every page.
2. Use the Plant Search to find a plant for any particular spot in your landscape or garden. (Plant Search Instructions)
