Perennial plants that have fragrant foliage are perfect for planting near decks, patios, pools and other outdoor living or sitting areas. Not only are they a conversation pieces that fill the air with nice aroma or are fun to touch and smell some are good for repelling insects. Aside from providing fragrance and aroma, many, such as Pineapple Sage produce flowers that are magnets to butterflies and hummingbirds.
